Whether it’s bringing them tea in the afternoon, reading them a book, or telling a good joke, we go to great lengths to keep our residents smiling. Cory Gatte

With a heart of gold and commitment to providing excellent care to Encore’s residents, Cory Gatte is a ray of sunshine for residents, their families, and other caregivers. He is eager to please and brings positivity to every aspect of our community, from joining group activities to visiting with residents.
Our residents love Cory so much that when they are discharged to go back home, they often say they will miss the caring community they temporarily called home.
In addition to being a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator in Louisiana, Cory has an accounting degree, but found himself drawn to the long-term care industry. With 12 years of senior care experience, he has found his true calling at Encore. Cory is an active member of the Crowley Chamber of Commerce, and serves on two boards, including the Leadership Excel and the LSUE Foundation.

Tamar Mitchell, RN
Director of Nursing+
With more than 17 years of nursing expertise, Tamar Mitchell, RN, leads Encore’s care team with a steadfast commitment to compassionate service. As Director of Nursing, Tamar is known for her team-oriented leadership and relationship-focused approach, ensuring that every resident is treated with warmth, dignity, and respect.
Guided by the philosophy of caring for residents as she would her own loved ones, Tamar believes in the transformative power of a smile, a kind word, and a supportive presence. Her dedication ensures residents not only receive excellent clinical care but also feel truly valued and respected.
A graduate of Excelsior College, Tamar’s diverse clinical background spans medical-surgical, acute inpatient rehabilitation, psychiatric, emergency department, and LTAC environments. Beyond her professional credentials, Tamar is a natural nurturer—an eldest sister and devoted mother—who brings the same compassion and attentiveness to her career as she does to her family.
Tamar’s proudest achievements lie in the ability to save lives and make a meaningful, positive difference for others. Outside of work, she enjoys relaxing with her family, cherishing time with her three beautiful children. Her leadership reflects Encore’s core values, as she strives to create lasting impressions through every act of care.

Angelique Credeur
Community Outreach/Admissions Coordinator+
Angelique Credeur spends her time at Encore streamlining communication within the communities and making days brighter for residents. When she’s not encouraging awareness and education on Alzheimer’s disease, she acts as a wealth of information on many other healthcare topics for residents, families, and the Encore community.
While Angelique is used to hearing from residents that she’s “a lifesaver,” she continues to be a delight for anyone who crosses her path. With over 10 years of experience in long-term care, Angelique is a valuable asset to the Encore team. As a former trainer and entrepreneur in the women’s fitness industry, she brings extensive knowledge on wellness coaching and nutrition.
Angelique continues to be an active member of the Crowley Chamber of Commerce for over 20 years and currently serves on the board. As a past President of the Crowley Rotary Club and various fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer’s Association, she supports the community on many levels.
